Mr. Yi-Biao Lin, General Manager of Time Arts Multimedia, will share his experience in curating “From Impressionism to Modernism: Masterpieces from the Metropolitan Museum of Art”, introducing how to select masterpieces from the Robert Lehman Foundation's donation and integrate the theme and narrative of the exhibition. Mr. Lehman shared his experience in curating the exhibition, “From Impressionism to Modernism: Masterpieces from the Metropolitan Museum of Art”, and how the exhibition was selected from the Robert B. Lehman Foundation's donation of masterpieces, and how it was integrated into the exhibition's theme and narrative. This is the first time that the Metropolitan Museum of Art will exhibit its collection in Taiwan, and it is also the opening exhibition of the renovated Gallery II of the National Palace Museum of Art, featuring a total of 81 masterpieces by Renoir, Van Gogh, Matisse, and other great masters. The lecture will also reveal the curatorial considerations behind the exhibition, including the presentation of female artists, the interpretation of the works' contemporary context, and the planning of the exhibition venue's movement lines, etc., leading the audience to have a glimpse of the complete process of an international art exhibition from conception to realization.
